Ashford Access Group exists to help the whole community to gain access to the
Borough and its' services. This does, in the main, concern the disabled, but
everybody benefits from a well planned environment; mothers with young
children, the elderly and people with mobility problems of all sorts.
We are able to conduct audits and advise on access issues for businesses,
school, village halls, etc., as well as being able to assist any individual who
may be experiencing difficulties with the built environment, or any services
offered to the public. We are able, also, to act as a link to more specialised
help if it is needed.
An Ashford Access Representative visits the Gateway every Wednesday from 12noon to 2pm and
the last Saturday of each month 9am-12noon.
