Gateway Mobile

The Ashford Gateway is about creating a better experience for people and improving the quality of life by joining public services and making them accessible in a friendly and attractive way. The Gateway Mobile is designed to enhance access to these services in rural and hard-to-reach communities in Kent – particularly communities with relatively poor transport links and/or at a distance from major commercial hubs.

The unit can support multiple agencies and delivers a wide range of online transactions together with face-to-face advice and support services from trained Gateway staff.

The Gateway Mobile unit can also be used as a channel to support specific public sector campaigns and consultations and can often be seen at large public events such as the Kent County Show as well as at hospitals, sports events and other strategic locations.
